R I P Chris Kelly

Today is a sad day in the world of Hip Hop, Chris Kelly aka "Mac Daddy" has passed away at 34. Let me take a few minutes out of my normal blogging and just say this: There are plenty of people that do NOT like Hip Hop or Rap music and hey that is fine. You had to of liked Kris Kross growing up though. Discovered in the early 90's by Jermaine Dupri these 2 young kids took the world by storm. Not only were they able to rhyme at such a young age, they also had a gimmick. This gimmick would literally turned the world upside down and backwards. See Mac Daddy and Daddy Mac wore their clothes backwards, starting a world wide phenomenon. Even as kids they had some of the biggest hits of the early 90's which people still listen to this very day. Every one back in the day was doing this with their pants or jackets or both. Kris Kross was getting ready to do some reunion shows which would of been awesome. All to "Real" though ya mess with drugs and well you end up dead.
 "The night before Kelly's medical emergency, he had taken a mixture of heroin and cocaine. The friend also told police that Kelly had done this "several times in the past."

Chris my man you will be truly missed, Rest In Peace.
