Its Was All About The Pager

Who remembers when having a "pager" was an IT thing? Lets go back to the late 80's. early 90's when it was all about the pager, cells phones were barely even heard of. I think I had just about every style of pager you could think of. It was all about Pagenet, they were pretty much the catalyst of the pager business. I still remember when they came out with the pager that had a keyboard, everyone thought they were the shiznit because they could text even faster than before. It was pretty awesome back in the day. You weren't anyone unless you had a pager. The epidemic back than with pagers is just about the same as it is now with cell phones. Everyone and their mother has to have one and it most of the time it has to be the newest and greatest that is out. I still remember when they brought the pager out that was a 1-800 number out and you had to pay for everyone that paged you. It got pretty costly that is for sure. Back in the pager ear some many other things were also popular like huge hair, break dancing, ridiculous clothing and oh yeah huge earrings.
